About These Terms
Bodywork Clinic provides professional massage, sports recovery, and therapeutic bodywork treatments in a respectful and comfortable environment.
These terms help ensure appointments run smoothly and that treatment can be provided safely and professionally.
By booking an appointment, you confirm that you have read and accepted these Terms & Conditions.
Appointments & Bookings
Appointments can be booked through our online booking system or arranged directly with the clinic.
Please ensure that the treatment, clinic location, date, and time selected are correct before confirming your booking.
Appointments are available at our Marylebone, Central London and Golders Green, North West London clinics.
Booking availability varies between locations.
Cancellations & Rescheduling
If you need to cancel or reschedule an appointment, please contact the clinic as early as possible.
Payments, deposits, and booking fees are non-refundable.
Where possible, requests to reschedule will be considered subject to availability and the terms applicable to your booking.
Missed appointments and late cancellations may result in the full treatment fee becoming payable.
Late Arrivals
Please arrive on time for your appointment.
If you arrive late, your treatment may need to be shortened to avoid affecting other scheduled appointments.
The full treatment fee remains payable where treatment time is reduced due to late arrival.
If you are significantly late, it may not be possible to provide the treatment.
Health Conditions & Client Responsibility
Please inform your therapist before treatment of any relevant medical conditions, injuries, allergies, medications, recent procedures, or changes to your health.
You are responsible for providing accurate and relevant information that may affect your treatment.
Treatment may be modified, postponed, or declined where the therapist considers this appropriate for your safety or wellbeing.
If you are unsure whether treatment is suitable for you, please seek appropriate medical advice before booking.
Treatment Expectations
Treatments are tailored to your individual needs, goals, comfort, and physical presentation on the day.
Individual responses to massage, sports therapy, acupuncture, cupping, Graston (Gua Sha), and other bodywork techniques can vary.
Temporary soreness, tenderness, redness, bruising, or marks may occur following certain treatments.
While treatment is intended to support recovery, mobility, muscular tension, and physical wellbeing, specific results cannot be guaranteed.
Consent During Treatment
Your comfort and consent are important throughout your appointment.
The therapist will explain or discuss treatment where appropriate, and you may ask questions, request changes to pressure or technique, or ask for treatment to stop at any time.
The therapist may also modify or discontinue treatment where continuing would be inappropriate or unsafe.
This is worth having because consent is ongoing, not merely given when the client books.
Payment Policy
Payment requirements depend on the booking method used and will be shown or confirmed when your appointment is arranged.
Where advance payment or a deposit is required, the appointment is not secured until payment has been received.
Any outstanding treatment fee must be paid as agreed with the clinic.
Payments, deposits, and booking fees are non-refundable unless otherwise agreed by Bodywork Clinic.
Do not retain the existing paragraph saying online bookings are recommended. That's marketing copy rather than a term.
Appointment & Treatment Time
Appointment times may include consultation, changing, preparation, treatment, and aftercare guidance where appropriate.
Treatment duration may therefore vary depending on the service booked and your individual requirements.
This is especially useful when clients assume that every minute of a booked slot must be hands-on massage.
Professional & Respectful Environment
Bodywork Clinic provides professional therapeutic treatments within a respectful and appropriate environment.
Inappropriate, abusive, threatening, discriminatory, sexual, or otherwise unacceptable behaviour towards the therapist will not be tolerated.
The therapist reserves the right to refuse or immediately terminate treatment where professional boundaries, safety, or appropriate conduct are compromised.
Where a session is terminated because of inappropriate behaviour, the treatment fee will remain payable and no refund will be provided.
Right to Refuse or Modify Treatment
Bodywork Clinic reserves the right to decline, modify, postpone, or discontinue treatment where this is considered appropriate for health, safety, professional, or therapeutic reasons.
Where an alternative treatment would be more appropriate, this may be discussed with you before proceeding.
